A highlight of the region is our own National Park. Just 30 walking minutes away from the resort will you reach dense forest, protected by 8 mountain ranger. As logging and hunting was becoming a danger for this beautiful forest near Kalaw, we got the possibility to help to conserve this are. Within the forest there are a few lakes, surrounded by an amazing nature.
For people interested in nature it is a most interesting place. Lot´s of different birds, insect, reptiles can be found, as well as monkies, wild pigs, deer, different wild cats and sometimes bears.
